Parking Attendant

Parking attendants direct traffic, park and return cars, and maintain the smooth flow of traffic in and out of the hotel parking lot. Be very attentive, and polite to people’s experiences and aid with the entry and exit of the building and parking lot.

    • Perform valet duties and park vehicles in open spots

    • Manipulate vehicles to take advantage of all spaces

    • Clean up debris from parking lot

    • Use hand signals to direct patrons into open spots

    • Ensure the careful and safe parking of a vehicle

    • Position or remove barricades to prevent parking in certain spots

    • Open doors and greet customers

    • Help customers locate their vehicles

    • High school diploma or GED

    • Valid driver’s license

    • Abiliy to work under pressure

    • Exceptional interpersonal skills

    • Good time management and organizational skills

    • Conflict resolution experience

    • Patience and good listening skills

    • Wage: $16 per hour

    • Full-time (part-time non-summer)

    • Weekend evening shift
